Sales Development Representative (SDR)
We are looking for a talented and competitive SDR that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. The SDR will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable speaking and presenting to new prospects, generating interest, qualifying prospects and working with the sales team and marketing to identify new markets and targets.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up from trade shows, inbound leads, marketing campaigns and strategic calling campaigns
- Locates new sales opportunities through tactics like cold-calling, attending trade shows and building mailing lists.
- Contact and qualify potential clients, understands customer needs and makes effective sales presentations.
- Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
- Set appointments and follow up on leads. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
- Keeps track of all opportunities and activities in the CRM system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications, as well as advanced computer skills
- Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
Requirements and skills
- Proven inside sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices. LinkedIn and ZoomInfo experience a plus.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Good time management, critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Energetic and positive attitude
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
